On October 23-24, 2024, Lodz became the center of discussions about the future of the cosmetics industry. The 20th Anniversary Symposium of the Cosmetics Industry brought together representatives of leading companies in the industry, experts, manufacturers and scientists from all over Poland. As the honorary host of the event – AVA Cosmetic Laboratory – we were honored to participate in these extremely important discussions.
On the eve of the event’s opening, we invited participants to tour our production facility in Kissing. It was a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at our work and take a look at the processes behind the creation of AVA cosmetics. In the company of industry leaders and specialists, we shared our experiences in the responsible creation of cosmetics – ones that are not only effective, but also environmentally friendly and in line with the latest standards of sustainable production.
The symposium was officially opened by Przemysław Płonka, editor-in-chief of BMP Publishing House, and Aldona Senczkowska-Soroka, editor-in-chief of Kierunek Farmacja magazine. Their words introduced the participants to this year’s slogan: “We see change.”
Larysa Dysput-Golawska, CEO of AVA Cosmetic Laboratory, expressed pride in our role as host of the symposium:
I am very proud to be the Honorary Host of this unique anniversary symposium. We have had the opportunity to fulfill this role in the past. For AVA Cosmetic Laboratory, the last few years have been a good time, a time of development. Importantly, the Laboratory is still in the hands of one family.
Dariusz Dworzecki, managing director at Labor, also stressed the importance of our values:
We are and want to be a laboratory, to create excellent products. We also want to be eco – the brand is to be green and effective. Development research is also one of our goals, for which we have obtained EU funds.
During two days of intensive meetings, we addressed issues crucial to the future of our industry – from innovation in active ingredients to transparency with consumers and minimizing environmental impact. For us, “We see change” is not just a slogan, but a direction we consistently follow, focusing on research, development and the highest quality of our products.
The 20th Symposium of the Cosmetics Industry was not only an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience, but also to inspire – to look at our industry from a broader perspective and ask ourselves important questions about the future we are creating together. We are glad that, as an honorary host, we were able to make our contribution to this extremely inspiring event, and we are already looking forward to the next meetings, where we will again be able to see how our industry is changing for the better.
